Just Thinking About Broadway.........

I was just listening to the original Broadway cast of RENT sing "Seasons of Love" and enjoying research on some recent and upcoming New York productions. It would be a fabulous time to be in the city. These pictures from a limited run of PURLIE this past Spring create vivid images of a night at the theater enjoying this classic of Broadway. Many artists, critics, and audience members would love to see a great PURLIE with an extended open-run at a Broadway theater. Any investors interested in producing this classic of Broadway should immediately notify me.

The first photgraph on the right is Blair Underwood starring as "Reverend Purlie." WOW! This looks like it must have been a stunning and visually impressive production. In the second picture, I can just imagine Anika singing the great inspirtational show-stopper, "I Got Love."

The third photo is of tony-award winner Lillias White (seated) and tony-award winner Anika Noni Rose. As Missy and Luttibelle there is no doubt that these two dynamic performers brought the house down.
